Despite really tough fishing and less than perfect weather, our friends Team Simrad, of SoCal Ocean Sports in Seal Beach, dominated the 2015 Western Outdoor News White Seabass Championships held out of Two Harbors.  With the lack of seabass/squid around the island, they knew their best shot would be to fish yellowtail.  Sam and the guys focused on the Farnsworth Bank area and enticed some nice yellowtail with Kicker 25H’s in our ‘Enlightenmint’ colorway.  When it was all said and done their big fish went 27.7lbs and had a total two fish bag total of 54.3lbs, which bagged them a cool $8,520.  Congrats Sam Snyder, Dave Dodge, Steve Chu, and Mike Iwakoshi!
